Leica S6D Preparation Microscope
In room O124, a Leica Preparation Microscope is stationed to help people that need to prepare relatively large samples such as Oocytes, Zebrafishes and C. elegans for microscopy. We find the SPEII being used for these samples more often and therefore placed the preparation stereo scope in this room. The scope is perfectly suited to determine the cell-side of flipped coverslips as well.
We are very gratefull to Theo van Haeften to lend us the stereoscope for the time being, it will be returned to the Biochemistry and Cellbiology Department when its required for teaching purposes. Users are urged to handle the scope with great care.
